Interesting post. This seems a general human problem...we get something in our head, a definition of who/what our group is, and it seems as if NOTHING can get us to think outside that box. ("Baa" comes to mind here)... :)

Molly, one of the things I thought about was how often we define ourselves by who we are not, rather than be who we are. We decide we can't do certain things because that is what "those people" do, rather than deciding "I am who God made me, what should I do." To escape someone else's box we just create another one to jump into.
