The statistics are definitely saying something about the safety of health workers. Even health facilities are not immune to accidents and injuries. Since they are exposed to illnesses and diseases on a regular basis, it is advisable for them to have workers’ compensation insurance, provided by the hospital administration. This benefit will help them in the event that they suffer an illness or injury due to their work. It will help them financially, and save them from the burden of paying their medical bills.
