The Kansas City Star has a front-page article called South and North, Secret Santa Helps. It is about Kansas City's Secret Santa. Every Christmas, someone goes around the city handing hundreds of dollars to unsuspecting people. A news reporter is often allowed to travel with the agreement that Secret Santa's identity will not be revealed. Apparently, a couple more people have gotten into the act. I thought you might find this story a refreshing diversion from the commercialization of Christmas.
