Data from the Monitoring the Future, 2005 report was released yesterday. This is the report that measures substance abuse among teenagers. - Any Illicit Drug but Marijuana - 10.8% to 10.3%. Down from the all time high of 21.7% in 1981
- Alcohol - 48% to 47%. Down from a high of 72.1% in 1978.
- Cigarettes - 25% to 23.2%. Down from 36.5% in 1997 and down from the all time high since 1975 of 38.8% in 1976.
