If the analogy is made between a husband and wife and Christ and the Church, it matters to bear in mind that Christ promised to give the Church the keys to the kingdom. This seems straightforwardly to imply autonomy.

Have you read my house church model for political activism?

Michael Kruse

I hadn't thought about the keys of the kingdom in this regard. I'll have to reflect on that one. I am curious as to what you mean by autonomy. For who and for what?

I did read your post but I missed the connection between this review of Fee and the house church post.

I am very tired at the moment and my brain is pretty dense. Sorry if I am seem slow here.
