I got back from PCUSA General Assembly Council meetings last night. Then I rushed out to Mid-America Nazarene University in Olathe, KS, for a worship service that was part of the Postmodern Youth Ministry conference led there by Tony Jones of Emergent Village. The worship team from Jacob's Well did the music, and Mike King of YouthFront gave the message.
Here is a shot of Mike Crawford leading the worship team. He tells me they finished the recording studio in the basement of the building and Jacob's Well in July and are already booked until April.
Here is Mike King delivering the message.
Here is a shot of Tony Jones with Kansas City Emergent Cohort diva, and fellow PCUSAer, Tera Yakel.
Tim Keel was there, but he saw me coming and hurried out the door before I could snap him (Actually, I think he had some little ones to get home to bed.) Don't forget to buy his first book just being released Intuitive Leadership: Embracing a Paradigm of Narrative, Metaphor, and Chaos. It was a great time, and King seemed to think the conference was going well.
