If you live in the Kansas City area, you might want to drop the Barnes and Noble on the Plaza about 7:30 this evening. Tim Keel, pastor at Jacob's Well, will be having a book signing for his new book Intuitive Leadership: Embracing a Paradigm of Narrative, Metaphor, and Chaos. I haven't read the book yet, but it is next on my list. I'm looking forward to it, and I'll do a book review once I get it read.
Tim gave a great presentation at Nazarene Theological Seminary yesterday on imagination. It included a clip of the music video Lets Get Started by the Black Eyed Peas. (But for some reason, the Nazarenes weren't dancing to the beat.) If you were there, it was similar to his presentation at the Emergent event in Nashville a couple of years ago. Good stuff!
Anyway, if you have time and are in the neighborhood, stop by the Barnes and Noble on the Plaza and get an autographed copy of the book. Tell Tim I sent you; he will surely add a 20% surcharge to the book.
