Last week, I became a Kentucky Colonel in Louisville at the General Assembly Council meetings. Joey Bailey, chief financial officer for the GAC, has this honor bestowed on the GAC chair and vice-chair. Moderator Bruce Reyes-Chow also was so honored. Pretty cool. Thanks, Joey.

However, somewhere in one of my filing cabinets is a similar plaque. The Governor of the state of Nebraska signed mine. It names me an Admiral in the Nebraska Navy.

Congrats Mike, you join a group of distinguished people. My hubby's great-aunt was a Kentucky Colonel and she in her own right was an awesome person. Just want to say you are in good company. Enjoy all the rights and benefits of Coloneldom. Blessings! Carla
