I had this exact same thing happen to a lexmark. they heard a mouse and opened the drawer and slammed it closed, and when the tray lifted he got squished into the toner. Totally gross trying to get it out of there.

Yikes! Sounds messy to me. I guess it makes sense for them to get in there. Many printers put off a little bit of heat.
